A Bit About Me
From each experience in life, I have learned that our actions, words, and productions can affect the world around us. Therefore, the excitement of creating and transforming others' lives has been an inspiration since my first career. As a Physiotherapist for ten years, I tried to create the best conditions to improve each day of children with Cerebral Palsy. After those years, the desire to change and to have various perspectives on world issues moved me to the Social Communication path when I started connecting with Journalism in Brazil in 2010.
The final project for my bachelor's degree in Journalism was analyzing a Politician's Social Media data during the mayoral elections political campaign in Recife -Brazil. During my student life, I developed some layout design ideas for organizations. In addition, I worked as a political journalist intern in Diario de Pernambuco Newspaper - The oldest periodical in circulation in Latin America. This experience and the ethical crisis in Brazil have raised even more the aim for innovation and social changes.
Arts and Writing are passions, and my goal is to link those compelling areas with communications and social responsibility.
I founded a social responsibility company in Brazil - Regra3 - which develops connections among companies and social projects. During the last four years in Florida, I invested in learning English and integrating with a new culture. I graduated from the program New Media Communication at Broward College to improve my career and second language skills. During my course, my passion for Writing and art lead me to a scholarship as Editor of Photography in P' an Ku Literature and Art Magazine - a BC publication. In the Spring 2022 semester, as my Capstone Project, I earned an internship as Web Design Editor for the same publication. My next steps are towards a master's degree where I can think, picture, and write about what matters for the soul and for the world.
